Elephant activities in Jaipur

Elephants love to swim, cool off, frolic and splash in the water and then to cover themselves with thick luscious mud. They love to do so alone or with their favoured elephant groups.

  • Elephant Bathing & Optional Safari Ride.

Our Elephants

The mud spa or elephant mud bath is not only fun for the elephants, but it is also a way to build a natural defense on their skin to keep them clean. Elephants really like to be clean as their skin is sensitive.

Elephant Washing

You hose the elephant down, then ask the elephant to lie down on its haunches - they are trained to understand 'lie down' - and scrub it with a brush and soapy water, starting from their back to their feet.

Walking with the elephants

The mean daily walking distance (MDWD) for all elephants was 5.3 km/day. African elephants walked an average of 5.4 km/day and Asian elephants walked an average of 5.3 km/day;“They walk up to 50 miles a day. When they don't move, that's when they have physical problems.” Fico also contends that elephants in captivity typically die at about age 40, while those in the wild live into their 70s.

Note: Washing in winter season (November to March) is not possible as Elephants can get cold very Fast.

  A word from Owner

Dear Guests,

We are a little upset to put this on our website but it came to our notice that many people at Elephant Village and other places are using our name and charging our guests.  Some Drivers and Tour guides are taking people to different places where they pretend to be Elefun and drivers and guides are getting  commissions.

So please double check with prices and the places you are visiting be sure you meet me at farm.

Thanks for reading this.
